We've hit a new country - the magnificent island of Sri Lanka! Today is my first impressions of their capital city Colombo. After arriving we wanted to get a flavour for the city and decided the best way to do this was explore everything from it's Lotus Tower, seaside views to it's downtown markets and local cuisine! The city BLEW ME AWAY with how modern it was, from it's Lotus Tower, to it's skyscrapers and modern malls, I wasnt expecting this. The local too, were some of the friendliest I have come across.
