In this video (I've never done a video like this before) I'm going to present you my medium-large scale mob head farm that allows players to get larger quantities of mob heads more easily. Getting charged Creepers is one of the more annoying things in Minecraft. You have to wait for a thunderstorm, manually charge and capture Creepers without them going off early and then pair them up with the mob you want the head from, all while preventing the Creeper from detonating. When finally done, it usually leaves big Creeper holes behind. This farm isn't automatic, but it has some automatic mechanisms built into it. It holds up to 32 Creepers at once, which can be loaded risk-free by operating the loading railway-system and transfering Creepers from a small Creeper farm to individual cells. Once a thunderstorm occurs, you strike one of the few lighting rods present and charge around 6 - 8 Creepers at a time. Then, you can transfer them in the lower holding area and possibly collect a few more. After that, another small mob farm supplies all the 3 overworld mobs that can drop their heads. A mob sorter sorts the mobs (95 % accuracy) and the player decides which mob shall get transported to the blast chamber (along the charged Creeper). Once both mobs have arrived, the player just needs to stand near the charged Creeper and wait for him to go off - only have a heart of damage is incurred when standing in the intended spot. Usually, Piglin heads are the hardest. Applies for this farm too. You have to transport the Creepers to a nether blast chamber instead, but this is also done without much exposure to the Creeper. In the nether, a small contraption is built that makes Piglins run towards a golden carrot (player dropped) which they pick up and makes the Piglin persistent and also transports it into a small holding cell where a player can extract individual Piglins using Minecarts and send them in the blast chamber to the charged Creeper. Due to the lack of water in the nether, the nether blast chamber is built bigger and a bit deeper to avoid environment damage. The process is the same: Stand near the charged Creeper, wait until it goes off, collect Piglin head. While I acknowledge this video is long and the farm has only very, very niche uses, I still wanted to show it off because larger scale charged Creeper farms aren't really a thing. My design is over engineered, I know, but these pesky Creepers annoyed me a bit too much with them constantly going off near my base, so this is basically a revenge project.
