Silver Star is a Hyper Coaster found at Germanys Europa Park in the French themed area. It was the first non Mack Rides coaster that was constructed at the park since it was first opened. This Hyper coaster, that is currently sponsored by Mercedes-Benz, boasts heights of 240ft (putting it in tied place 4th in Europe) and speeds of 79mph while giving some stunning views across not only Germany but into France as well from the top of the lift hill. It has some great floater airtime but also a nice pop of ejector at the mid course. While in my personal opinion, it rates behind that of both Mako and Shambhala, it's still a great experience and has been since it opened back in 2002.
