It can shift its power around quickly and, with the ever-increasing use of gallium nitride tech (GaN), fairly efficiently. I wanted something to keep me going on my laptop for an entire working day. The initial charge of the laptop sucks out power at about 50W, which depletes the battery very quickly. However, once charged to 100%, the laptop gently consumes the juice at 5-10W, and the battery can keep me going all day. It's overpriced, but it's a new product from Anker, so they always are. Paying £140 for a few cells and some tech is ridiculous. This will come down in price or become available on a sale at some time, and you will get an absolute bargain.
