Coiba Mica Cave is part of the Coibe - Tăuz karst system. Access to the cave is possible only for those experienced in such explorations; and equipped with special equipment. During the spring period, with the spring rains and the melting of the snow, a 10-12 meters deep lake forms at the entrance of this cave. Due to the small entrance and the large amount of water, it cannot drain through the cave and accumulates as a lake. The level of the lake can be seen very well by the traces of mud and vegetation left on the rock wall.
