Frank is Dr. Moeller's first full-arch surgical case — from nearly 20 years ago. After a childhood accident eventually led to all his upper teeth being removed, Frank struggled with a denture since he was in high school. Over the years, he inquired about implants but was told he just didn't have enough bone to make him a good candidate. Undeterred, Frank continued to explore his options. His search paid off in the early 2000s, when Dr. Moeller was completing his residency at University of Michigan's School of Dentistry. Thanks to advances in surgical and bone regeneration techniques, Dr. Moeller was able to replace Frank's denture with a fixed full-arch, supported by six implants. Frank described the experience as life-changing. "I don't have to take them out every day and clean them and take the paste of and all that kind of stuff," he said. "It pretty much changed my life." Over the years, Frank has continued to place his trust in Dr. Moeller, following him from his first practice in Ann Arbor to East Lansing, and now to Okemos where Dr. Moeller leads the team at Elan Implant Center. "He's pretty much done everything, and made me feel so at ease," Frank said.
