Back in her native Switzerland, she moved into her first apartment—a small but significant step into independence. It was within those quiet walls, with the vibrant echoes of Havana still fresh in her mind, that Grand-Rue came to life. The piece captures the bittersweet blend of nostalgia and self-discovery, bridging the lively streets of Cuba with the serene, winding lanes of her Swiss hometown.
