The New AWWA Free Water Audit Software is Here - Will Jernigan & Cor Merks

The Free Water Audit Software (FWAS) has been established as the standard in North America for conducting the annual water audit with water balance and performance indicators. The most recent version of the FWAS (v6.0) was published in December 2020 on World Water Loss Day, and brings forth a significant evolution in its data validity assessment function, as well as benchmarking of key performance indicators against validated North American water audit data. Will Jernigan, PE is the chief architect of the FWAS v6.0 and chairs the software group at the American Water Works Association that is responsible for development and updates to the FWAS, and will be presenting key updates in the FWAS. As the FWAS v6.0 has capability for metric units, and local currency conversions, it is also being utilized by practitioners outside of North America. The webinar will also include a presentation by Cor Merks regarding application of the FWAS v6.0 to develop up to 280 water balances for the largest water utility in the Netherlands.
