A journey that follows the all women's running collective, Girls Run NYC as they push themselves individually and collectively through The Black Canyon Ultra Marathon in 2022, despite challenges and set-backs along the way. Girls Run Ultras received an honorable mention award at the 2025 NYU Sports Film Festival. Girls Run Ultras was featured in the 2024 Trail Running Film Festival, as well as reaching the semifinals of the 2023 No Man’s Land Film Festival. This was the first documentary created by Girls Run NYC, directed and produced by Ellie Windham and Christine Rivera.
