At first glance the Cooler Master Nepton 240M may look much like other CLC coolers, but there are some distinct differences internally . The Cooler Master Nepton 240M directly addresses two of the major shortcomings of other CLC units by using a 120 lph pump for increased flow, as well as contact block with a substantially larger surface and dissipation area. Get Cooler Master at Amazon: http://geni.us/1KjJ As we have seen, performance drops off very quickly at flow rates below 0.5 gpm (113 lph), and the Cooler Master Nepton is the first CLC to include a pump capable of this flow, and offering almost twice the flow of most competitors. A dual skived array on the back of the contact plate measures 1.3 times as large as competitors, and puts significantly more copper in contact with the liquid resulting is far better heat transfer. These components are coupled with a dual 120mm (240mm) heat exchanger which is predrilled for optional push/pull configuration. Included are two 120mm Silencio fans which were engineered from the ground up specifically for radiator use. The Silencio 120mm is PWM controlled 800-2400 rpm, and is capable of 76CFM with 4.8mmH2O of static at only 27 dBA. The pump of the Nepton 240M has an MTBF of greater than 70,000 hours.
