Here's something new - A good way to use up your not so pretty or, not so practical, patterned Christmas paper pads! By making Eclipse Ornaments Slide & Lock Gate Fold Cards - the ornaments are the actual lock for the gate fold cards that just slide right on to the card, you can use several sheets of patterned paper/cardstock per card. The best part is, they double as ornaments for the Christmas tree! I've shown three gate fold cards and one traditional side folding card (non-removable ornament). So, whether you prefer to emboss your questionable patterned paper or, do something a little more creative with it, this technique is a lot of fun and I urge you to give it a try. Use any Christmas ornament die set that you have - the more layers or pieces in the set, the more opportunities for dimension! As a side note, I know I kept calling this technique "illusion"... for the life of me, I can never remember the term "ECLIPSE". I think it's memory loss.
