Send an email to [email protected] indicating your color preference and PayPal address! $3 *** Hot Hatches are a very cool car segment. They offer a fun to drive 'sportscar' experience while still being incredibly practical, easy to live with and very affordable. All of these cars offer a manual transmission, turbocharged engines, and front wheel drive! 1. The Ford Focus ST is super fun to drive with a good amount of power. The Recaro bucket seats are aggressive and trimmed very nicely. Great exterior styling and tons of power mods! Torque steer is a bit annoying, but you will get that on any FWD car. Lots of luxury features and is very reliable. 2. Hyundai Veloster Turbo is a quirky 3 door vehicle with a single door on the driver side and 2 on the passenger side. Aggressive styling and is even offered in matte colors! The interior has different color leather options too. Descent power in the stock form, and just like the other turbo engines, tuning can make this thing super quick! Hyundai depreciation is pretty bad, so you can get a very low mileage one for a great price! 3. Volkswagon Golf GTI is the 'refined' option. Slightly less 'economy car' interior touches make it feel a bit more refined. Great tuning and modification potential. Either a 4 door or 2 door model is offered depending on what you like. Owners love them, just be cautious of repair costs. Super clean look and a great performance feel! 4. People really love the Mazdaspeed 3. It has a tone of torque with the 2.3L engine. A little interesting looking on the outside with that classic Mazda smile, and a copy-cat hood like a Subaru. But they are practical and quick! Interior is very boring looking and it gets the worst gas mileage compared to the rest, but still a great option. 5. The Fiat 500 Abarth is the quirky little bubble... Abarth models have a peppy, tiny little turbo engine, but given the small size and weight, these things are quick! Practicality is very limited being so small, but you can get a convertible! Reliability might be a bit of an issue, but this car offers something the others can't quite match :) Honorable Mention.... Most people would never think to add the BMW i3 to this list. But since the depreciation is sooooo, sooooo bad... these things are so cheap! List price is about $50,000 brand new, but there are many 'like new' used ones for $15,000. Now that is probably an indication of reliability issues and/or lake of desired demand. But it is an electric car with some rear end space and is technically a hatch. Opt for the 650cc range extender engine and your car can actually go a decent amount on a charge. So this is an option, but is definitely not an 'enthusiasts' option.
