Missionary Story_Nokseng_No turning back

About 150 years ago, missionaries from Wales, UK came to Assam and shared gospel to the people of Garo tribe. The Garo tribe was known for being wild and dangerous. And a Garo man named Nokseng and his family decided to follow Jesus. The village chief was angry and asked Nokseng and his family to give up their new beliefs or be killed. But Nokseng replied, ‘I have decided to follow Jesus. No turning back.’ As a result, the village chief killed Nokseng, his two sons and his wife. But the chief and the village people were moved by their faith and decided to follow Jesus like Nokseng family. Later Sadhu Sunder Singh translated this song to english. Evangelist Billy Graham used to sing this song in all his meetings. Today this song is sung by churches all over the world.
