What can we do when a forest has vanished? Our Team used the opportunity of being in Brazil for The Ocean Race to visit the Instituto Terra and learn more about forest restoration. Created by famous Brazilian photographer Sebastiaõ Salgado, and sponsored by our partner Zurich, the Instituto Terra restores the Atlantic Forest in order to bring back a thriving ecosystem on 700,000 hectares of land that had been destroyed by human activities. 🌿 Watch the video and discover with our team's science expert Helene the difference between reforestation and forest restoration, what the challenges are, and how the Instituto Terra's members are bringing back hope to one of the biggest forests of Brazil!
