Stephanie is disappointed when Eric tells her that he found Kristen and Tony half-naked on the couch. Kristen says what she and Tony shared was beautiful and intimate, but it wasn’t sex and she was never in danger of catching HIV. Eric and Stephanie want Kristen to stop seeing Tony because they believe the temptation is too great. At Sally’s urging, Tony arrives to fight for Kristen, but it’s Kristen who lays down the law when she tells her parents she’s out of their lives for good if they can’t accept her relationship with Kristen. Beth hopes Stephen is satisfied with the pain he is causing Brooke, but he contends what he’s doing to Brooke is nothing compared to the suffering as Ridge has caused her. Stephen admits the actions he took may have been at Massimo’s prompting, but he believes Brooke must overcome her obsession with Ridge while Beth begins to wonder if they are meant to be together. Brooke is very pleased when she finds out Ridge has installed a video conferencing system so she can communicate with him face to face while she’s in Paris.
