Vaughan condo shooting: Police name gunman, say 3 victims were on condo board | FULL

York Regional Police Chief Jim MacSween on Monday released the name of the suspect in the shooting at a Vaughan, Ont., condo on Sunday night that left six dead, including the shooter, saying the man was a resident of the building. He also identified the genders of the victims, saying three men and two women were killed. A sixth victim, a woman, was taken to hospital and remains there in serious condition. He said three of the victims were also members of the condo board. MacSween said the Office of the Chief Coroner was working to confirm the identities of the victims and as a result, police would not be releasing their names. In a press conference around 11 p.m. on Sunday evening, MacSween said emergency crews responded to an active shooting call around 7:30 p.m. When the officers arrived they discovered a "horrendous scene where numerous victims were deceased." MacSween said a seventh person was also injured and was taken to hospital but is expected to survive. An officer shot and killed the suspect, police said.
