Hello guys! Today we’ll look at some of the easiest ways to transfer programs to a new computer. Firstly, we can use PCMover Express (Commercial Use), which is also recommended by Microsoft itself. Using PCMover Express, we can: Transfer application settings/configurations Transfer user profiles and other data Avail free transfer assistance The best part is that it’s completely free. Apart from this, we can also use EaseUS Todo PCTrans. The Pro edition costs $49.95 but we can utilise the free edition too. However, with the free edition we can transfer only 2 applications or upto 500 MB of user data. Alternatively, we can transfer programs manually but the process is quite tricky and not recommended. No matter what method we use, there’s one common problem that often arises during transferring of programs. Yes, you guessed it right: duplicate program files. In such a case, we can look into Clone Files Checker that allows users to scan PCs, detect duplicates, get rid of them and save tons of storage space.
