Greeting users in your app with their native language creates a personalized experience for them. Most of the time, developers build apps in English. It's easier to maintain the app and covers a large user base. It's hard to keep the localization up-to-date if you don't have a dedicated team. But not everyone speaks or understands English. Language can be a barrier for many. Starting with Xcode 15, we're given a new and improved way to localize our apps, called String Catalog. It greatly improves the way we handle localization and will make your apps easier to translate and maintain. This talk will give you an introduction into how String Catalog works.
