Kitendi is Lingala slang (a Congolese language) for “clothes”. Initiated by Congolese artist Stervos Niarcos, the word turned into a sartorial movement "Société des Ambianceurs et des personnes Élégantes" also known as “La SAPE”. KITENDI is a philosophy with elegance at its core. Often misrepresented or caricatured, through this collaboration, Boddhi Satva and Badi musically revisit as well as redefine “Sapology”. With the same witty approach the other song "VISA" touches upon the narrative and struggles of those leaving Africa for the West in hope of a better future.
