Today we're checking out one of our Sterling Ray4 SUB basses paired with a Nordstrand Audio MM 4.2 alnico Stingray pickup paired with their 3B-3 preamp. Featuring a push-pull volume knob for preamp bypass, another push pull mid control to give you access to two different mid frequency targets (400Hz and 1000Hz), and a stacked bass and treble control, this preamp is extremely close in both features and price to our Aguilar SUB, however there are some subtle differences.
