100 subscribers video Pairings: One-sided Quasimodo/Frollo, one-sided Frollo/Esmeralda (gah.. I don't know what to say. Thank you to all of my subscribers and friends who've supported and watched my videos. I appreciate it more than you all will ever know, you all have helped me grow as an editor so much, and made youtube a wonderful experience. Thanks from the bottom of my heart!) Theme: Unrequited Love Plot: Quasimodo loves no one in the world more than his adoptive father, Judge Claude Frollo, in ways and fathoms one dares not to contemplate; however, the tortured judge's heart belongs only to the gypsy Esmeralda.. (I'm sure some aspects of this may be confusing, so I'll try my best to highlight the important things. I would suggest reading this AFTER watching.) KEY POINTS: {spoilers} -Quasimodo, watching Frollo as he always does, sees him one night in his room lamenting over his unrequited love for Esmeralda. Quasimodo's heart aches with empathy for his master, also love-sick in the same way towards him. -Later, Quasimodo presents Frollo with a flower, symbolizing all he feels. Frollo, shocked and appalled, reacts in gutteral disgust. -Quasimodo pleads for forgiveness, but Frollo cares little, thinking Quasimodo a misguided, disgusting heathen and regarding him only with abhorrence. As time goes on Frollo begins to grudgingly acknowledge the existence of Quasi's feelings and eventually one night, resolves to use them to his advantage. He suddenly becomes deceptively kind and touchy with Quasimodo eventually pointing and making it clear what he wants Quasimodo to do for him. When he recoils Frollo forces himself on Quasimodo. -Frollo, later that night, visits Quasimodo who is crying in his room after the experience. Frustrated by Quasimodo's reluctance to perform for him, he sneaks up behind Quasimodo, spouting comforting words, and stabs him, killing him. -The rest of the video is a sequence of Quasimodo's dream and his personal image of Frollo, where, in his dreams, Frollo returns his love and saves him during the Festival of Fools, wipes away his face, and screams at the crowd for their cruelty. In this world Frollo lovingly guides him out of the cathedral into the sunlight and encourages him to face the towns people, helping him fulfill his wish of becoming one with them. ________________________________________ Sorry if this offends or freaks out anybody.
