Rammed Earth Construction - How to Build with Rammed Earth. We are in the process of building a 1300 sq ft - Year-Round, Geothermal, Rammed Earth Greenhouse. The greenhouse will be mostly off grid, as our water comes from our well, supplementary heat from our wood burner and power from our home. We were lucky to borrow a trencher from a friend, making things much easier than hand digging! This project is going to be experimental for us with construction methods that we are unfamiliar with combined with some traditional methods of construction.
