Stuttgart 21 | Stuttgart | Germany | Update.

This video shows the latest developments for Stuttgart 21. I start off at the new railway bridge and tunnels which cross the river into Stuttgart Bad Canstatt. The old railway bridge which is still being used is in the background. I then walked through the park to the building site at the north end of the new area behind the station where the tunnels run through. Quite a lot of things are new here, the tram station, pedstrian bridge over the main road etc. I walk through the area behind the station, having a quick look at a new housing area, which looks very nice although for a normal worker unaffordable and finally arrive at the main station. There is now a new version of the tunnel connecting the platforms to the front of the station. I cut the video into pieces as I walked through but it did actually take 10 minutes of fast walking (and that without any luggage or children). The front of the station is now supported by a metal frame after a piece of the wall fell down. What they actually intend to do I do not know. Moving on from here I go up through the park, over the bridge and take a stroll around the rest of the construction site. One can see that things have changed since my original video but there still seems to be a great deal to do. The building that I have as a thumbnail must be some sort of ventilation shaft, inside are tunnels but I could not see any other purpose for it. I hope you like the video.
