Ever wanted to walk on the edge of a jagged mountain with falloffs on each side, Ever wanted to scramble through a narrow gorge, with cisterns full with water? If your answer is yes to each of the above than this hike is for you. "Masor" translated to English is Saw, the mountain was given this name for is saw like jugged shape, and we will be scrambling though it's sharp teeth The hike is located in the south of Israel, near the village of Hatseva, be warned that getting to the trail head require breaking off the highway and driving in a crappy dirt road for about 30 min. Note that access to this trail is allowed only on weekends and not during the week The following google maps link will bring you to the point where you should break off to the dirt road on the right: https://goo.gl/maps/ZxrUfGjfx1rNeA8Y8 ( follow the green trail to the direction of the Masor Wadi ) The hike is circular, and is around 3 Km in length, and, at winter time, req walking in water, make sure to have proper shoes with you. Avoid this hike in the summer when the desertish temperatures are high, part of the hike is in a narrow gorge, make sure to check the weather forecast for rain and flash flood warnings in the area. Also make sure to bring sufficient amount of water, at-least 3 litters per-person.
