This my extended field review of Fox Knives' "Parus" that I tested extensively for nearly 6 weeks after I received it from the awesome people at www.Lamnia.com who offered it for the lowest price I could find. It also only took 8 days to ship from their warehouse in Finland, clear customs, and arrive at my doorstep. The "Parus" is marketed as a fixed blade survival knife and is constructed with a forprene injection molded handle fitting over a full tang blade of Bohler's N690Co premium stainless with a cerakote finish. It has an unconventional blade design featuring a recurve at the heel ending at a mid-point plunge line that creates a change in blade thickness as well as a front end belly. The drop point has a tapered swage along the spine along with topside jimping and a generous choil for "choking up" on the knife when conducting finer tasks. In this video, I discuss the good, the bad, and the ugly. Let me know what you think of both the knife and the video in the comment section below and thanks for watching! And a huge thank you to Francis at Bushcampingtools for the inspiration and support! Check out his channel and subscribe to us both! P.S. I had an earlier version of this video, but due to some "non-compliance" issues I was forced to remove it and edit an approved version. Visit my website at www.zerosumsurvival.com
