Katharine Birbalsingh is the founder and headmistress of the Michaela Community School, a free school (charter school) established in 2014 in London. She is editor of the 2016 title: “Battle Hymn of the Tiger Teachers: The Michaela Way” and she has delivered numerous speeches and interviews as an advocate for a return to more traditional teaching methods in schools. Thomas Sowell is an American economist and social theorist who is currently a Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University. He has had more than three dozen titles published on topics including race, society, and education. His 1992 book "Inside American Education" highlights many of the dogmas of public education that still relevant to problems in schools today.
