Maybe even "Orange-eat." However you say it, this recipe is as easy as it gets to make real, delicious, homemade Orgeat. And if anyone corrects your pronunciation because "that's not how the French say it!!!" ask them to say croissant. Unless there's a silent "t" and a magical "w" somewhere in there, tell them to take a hike, s'il te plaît. Filter through the coffee filter and change coffee filters once or twice as needed. This will take time. Add the almond milk back to the blender and blend with the remaining ingredients. I typically don't prefer heavy almond extract or marzipan flavors, but just ¼ tsp works well here. Omit if you don't like that flavor. #Orgeat #MaiTai #Cocktails
