A cozy day at home 🤍 It’s still −30°C outside and winter is not going anywhere yet, so today I wanted to bring a little warmth into our home. In this video I make crepes and onigiri for the kids, pack a lunch box for my youngest son, and enjoy those peaceful early morning moments in the kitchen. Later I turn an empty jar into a soft pastel vase for our dinner table. Such a simple little project, but it made the table feel so much cozier. In the evening we have a simple family dinner with salmon, rice, salad, dessert, candles, and flowers. Just a calm day at home, full of small cozy moments. ⸻ Food in the video Crepes: 3 eggs 1 tsp salt 3 tbsp sugar 1 cup milk 1 cup flour 1 tsp baking powder Boiled water (to make the batter thin) 3 tbsp vegetable oil Whisk eggs, salt, and sugar together. Add milk and whisk again. Add flour and baking powder and mix the batter. Pour in a little boiling water until the batter becomes thin and smooth. Add vegetable oil and mix again. Cook on a hot pan on both sides, pouring the batter in a thin layer. To get the little holes in the crepes, stir the batter often before pouring. ⸻ Onigiri: Rice Tuna Cream cheese Cucumber Nori Mix the tuna, cream cheese, and cucumber for the filling.
