Praia Bela is one of the most beautiful and complete beaches in Paraíba — and it’s only 45 km from João Pessoa! In this video, we show you everything you need to know: how to get there, the facilities, where to eat and the best spots in the region, such as Barra do Abiaí, Barra do Graú and the incredible cliffs on the southern coast of Paraíba, as well as a great lunch on the Macatu River. We continued on to Barra do Abiaí, where the Abiaí River flows into the ocean, creating a vast freshwater lagoon that contrasts with the blue of the sea. This paradisiacal setting is perfect for those seeking tranquility and intimate contact with nature. Nearby, Praia do Abiaí stands out for its long stretch of sand and serene atmosphere, ideal for relaxing walks and moments of contemplation. The next day, we explored Barra do Graú, a peaceful beach located on the natural border between the municipalities of Pitimbu and Conde. The walk along this paradisiacal beach took us to the border with Tambaba, in the municipality of Conde. The region is known for its untouched landscapes and the striking presence of the Graú River, which forms an estuary full of biodiversity. After the walk, we had lunch at Barra do Rio Mucatu, where we enjoyed a delicious seafood stew and fresh fish, prepared with the characteristic flavor of the local cuisine.
