Signal No. 4 up as Tino strengthens into typhoon | ABS-CBN News

At 1 p.m. Monday, Tino was located 235 km east southeast of Guiuan, Eastern Samar. It maintained its strength of 120 kph and gusts up to 150 kph. It is moving westward at 25 kph. Tino may make landfall at or near peak intensity of 150-165 kph winds in the vicinity of southern Eastern Samar, Leyte, Southern Leyte, or Dinagat Islands. Further intensification up to super typhoon is still not ruled out. The typhoon will cross Visayas on Tuesday and northern Palawan early Wednesday.
