In January 2003 four people died and 470 homes were destroyed in Canberra. My family lost our home in Duffy and so did my grandma two streets behind. Only three months later in April I was racing BMX at the National Championships and had an accident where I broke my neck. I was quadriplegic for over 3 hours and extremely lucky to fully recover. 2003 is a year my family never wants to re live but unfortunately today nearly 30 people have died and over 2000 homes lost. With hundreds of communities impacted now going through their tough year, I want to help. I don’t have machinery, a trade skill or equipment, but I do have 14 years experience selling real estate. $20,000 is my target and to achieve that I will donate 10% of the agency commission (ex GST) from every property sold. Thanks for watching, please give this video a like and share to increase the reach across Canberra. T&C’s Donation will be 10% of the net agency commission, ex GST. E.g. commission of $13,000 inc GST = $11,818.18 ex GST, donation will be $1,181.82 Donations will be made within 5 days of property settlement A receipt of donation will be provided, proving completion Donation period will finish no earlier than June 30 2020 and can be extended You can choose the beneficiary from the main bushfire appeals below, or one of your choosing at Sam’s discretion: NSW Rural Fire Service Victorian Country Fire Authority South Australian Country Fire Service The Salvation Army bushfire appeal Red Cross' Disaster Relief and Recovery The Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR), who support affected communities RSPCA's bushfire appeal to help fire-affected animals Wildlife Information Rescue and Education Service (WIRES) who rehabilitate injured wildlife Foodbank NSW Natural Disaster Relief, Foodbank Victoria Bushfire Emergency Food Relief Appeal and Foodbank SA Bushfire Appeal are providing those affected support with food.
