Afternoon drive westbound down the Central Avenue corridor east of Uptown Charlotte. Central Ave. is a major arterial route which passes through the East Charlotte neighborhood, past the old Eastland Mall before entering the popular Plaza Midwood neighborhood through which it travels before becoming Kings Blvd. near Uptown. Filmed: April 2020 This corridor is known for its wide range of restaurants where one can find Ethiopian, Mexican, Chinese, Vietnamese, Eastern European, Latin American, and various other types of cuisine. The section in Plaza Midwood offers several bars and nightlife options.
