It is a key stop for both long-distance express trains and the local MMTS (Multi-Modal Transport System) commuter rail. ​🚉 Station Overview ​Zone: South Central Railway (SCR). ​Platforms: 6 (with modern amenities like escalators and lifts). ​Connectivity: It acts as a gateway for travelers from the western part of Hyderabad, often preferred over the busier Secunderabad or Nampally stations due to its proximity to the IT hub. 🚍 Local Connectivity & Transport ​MMTS (Local Trains): Frequent services connect Lingampalli to Secunderabad, Falaknuma, and Hyderabad Deccan (Nampally). It is the terminal station for many MMTS routes. ​TSRTC Buses: The station is well-serviced by city buses.
