This lateral resistance partner drill strengthens and stabilizes your lateral chain, helps you own frontal plane stability, and increases your overhead and core strength using a long stick (6-7ft) and a yoga block. Your deep front line is accessed from your adductors up through your pubic bone. The yoga block is used to engage the adductors and amplify the amount of strength generated through your deep front line. A partner provides overhead force to resist through the stick, challenging your core and lateral line. This can be used as a warm-up or be progressed to a strengthening drill by increasing the amount of force your resisting.
