The Loboc River, also known as the Loay River, is a river in the Philippines' Bohol province and a popular tourist attraction. The Loboc River originates near the town of Carmen, virtually in the centre of Bohol, and flows westerly for about 1.5 km (1 miles) before flowing south into the Mindanao or Bohol Sea. Its drainage area is approximately 520 square kilometres (200 square miles) and is surrounded by a horseshoe-shaped chain of mountain peaks that rise to an elevation of 800 metres (2,600 feet).
