A film created during the Covid-19 lockdown? Surely such a thing could only be possible in a fantasy?! Well, kinda. Dunces and Dice Rolls is a comedy/fantasy/action romp created with the literal purpose of giving us all something to laugh at and enjoy in the midst of the pandemic. The rules we were given? Social distancing...I was the only one allowed on set, meaning I had to do EVERYTHING during production, yeah, it was as calming as it sounds. But hey, we got a great film out of it (in my so humble opinion). Follow Vinny, the apathetic student, who mocks his flatmates for their constant playing of RPG imagination game Dungeons and Dragons, finding the group's set of 'A.I encoded dice' laughable. Until, with one roll, the dice take Vinny's bad attitude and string it up into a fantasy version of the living room, complete with a Demon King hungry for slaughter. Vinny finds the loose rules of D&D hard to grasp, especially under the pressure of being murdered by a Demon and trapped by a set of dice...
