Marco Antonio Varela and Nelia Ross delivered performances of remarkable grace and precision, each piece seeming to come alive. Nelia’s delicate piano intertwined with their expressive vocals, creating profoundly moving moments. One of my favorites, Canto Della Terra, lingered in memory long after the final note. They also performed as duets: All I ask of you (from Phantom of the Opera), The medley Capullito de Alhelí, Cuando calienta el sol. Guantanamera, just to mention a few. Some of Nelia’s solos "Show must go on (Queen), Adagio (L. Fabian), Glosoli (S. Brightman), Perdere l'amore (by Italian Massimo Ranieri). The ensemble, masterfully led by Brahm Sheray, added richness and refinement, while Don Meoli, Matt Green, Ryan Gooseman, Carlitos Leon, and David Warner delivered performances full of heart, energy, and precision.
