During the Sordish Civil War, whilst the former Kingdom was a modernised one at that specific time, you could only see such technology only near the main cities and the capital, Holsord. In the rural side, especially in the fields of Nargis, the people were practically defenceless. As the Civil War started, most rural citizens joined up the Communist Party of Sordland and the so called "Red forces" and since they had ZERO mechanized units, they used carts drawn by horses carrying machineguns in the back. The mobility and efficiency of these carts was so useful, that the Reds managed to capture a lot of ground in Nargis, and the other factions caught wind of it as well, implementing it in the rural areas. The idea itself was presented to the civilians by communist figure Johan Gasmich, who was Rikard's aide during the war. He saw the use of the Tachonkos during the Rikan wars of independce, as well as the Contanan Civil War. After the war most of these carts were discontinued, but they laid the base for the future armored car productions in Sordland. P.S. Iannick Rikard is the leader of the Communist forces during the Sordish Civil War --------- The original song is "Tachanka" - a Russian Civil War Song about the use of horse drawn machinegun carts.
