Craft Traveler INTRODUCTION TO CRAFTY TRAVELER

Hello my name is Lani. This is my first youtube video. I hope to share, inform, inspire and educate you to things I enjoy doing. Those activities include Art, Crafts, Quilting, Sewing and Traveling. And sometimes I combine them. I have been sewing since I was 5 yrs old, while sitting on my mother's knee and guiding the fabric through the machine. I started quilting when I lived in Yuba City, Ca in 1985. I have been a member of three different groups and now am a member of the Grapevine quilter's guild of Mendocino county. I have traveled to 17 different countries and I have gone on numerous quilting cruises. I just returned from a trip through Italy beginning in Rome to Florence to Venice then catching the cruise ship and sailing south to the Greek isles and Croatia. This trip was coordinated by Scottie Dog quilt retreats. I have also traveled with Craftours.com , owned by Jim West. His company takes people all over the world to see and do the crafts of the country. I have been to Bali twice to learn how to do batik fabric. I also like to buy batik fabric for my quilts.
