Al Majmah: Al Majma'ah is a city and a governorate, in Ar Riyad Province of Saudi Arabia. Known as the capital of the Sudair region, The city borders the Eastern Province and Al-Qasim to the north, Thadig and Shaqra to the south, Rumah to the east, and Harmah, Al-Ghat and Zulfi to the west. Al-Majma'ah was historically considered the capital of the region of Sudair. It was an attractive place for many tribes such as Anazah and Shammar. The city today contains a museum, as well as an impressive mud-brick fort, that dates to the 18th century. The city turns green during spring, which makes it a national destination. Wadi Al Mashqar: Wadi Al-Mashqar in Al-Majmaah governorate is one of the most beautiful and longest Wadis of the region. The name of Al-Mashqar was mentioned in the book of the historian Abdullah bin Khamis (Dictionary of Al-Yamamah), and he mentioned that it is a large valley from the valleys of Sudair, embraced by a tributary that comes from the northwest side of Jabal Hattaba. The historical researcher Abdul Mohsen Al-Laboun explained that Wadi Al-Mashqar descends from the heights of the Tuwaiq mountain range in the center of the Kingdom, heading east, passing through Al-Majmaah and Harmah, penetrating the Al-Majzal mountains, and ending in Riyadh Al-Khufaisah at the Al-Urma Mountains. After the heavy rains, the valley turned into something like a running river, about six kilometers long, surrounded by grasses and shrubs, and it is called in the local dialect "Hayer", meaning the flow of rainwater over the surface as a result of the saturation of the soil with water and the high level of surface water. Al-Mashqar is in the center of the city of Majmaah, which stands on ruins deep in history. It is a meeting point for convoys, and a community where spirit, history, culture and economy are mixed.
