In this class we are learning how to paint simple flowers. The practice of drawing flowers is an excellent method to improve your skills in observing and recreating the 4 aspects of any object - Size, Shape, Placement and Proportion. Added to this flowers have multiple colours, colour variations, colour blends etc. There are many ways in which you can recreate them in watercolour - from simple washes to very complicated brush strokes to create near realistic details. Practicing painting flowers will help you understand how colours work in various settings & this will further help you to recreate similar effects in the more complex objects at a later stage.
