Beautiful girl lures victims to Golden Triangle with enchanting invitation | Scam Alert | News 24h

DDDN | An enchanting invitation from a beautiful girl, a series of victims were tricked into bringing them to the Golden Triangle. On the afternoon of April 11, Nghe An Provincial Police prosecuted the case and arrested Bui Thi Thao (31 years old, Ho Chi Minh City) and Le Van Ha (26 years old, Nghe An) for human trafficking. According to the investigation, Thao and Ha's group defrauded the victims, luring them to work in Thailand for a salary of 800 USD/month. However, this group took them to Myanmar and sold them to international criminal groups in the Golden Triangle area. Victims were forced to sign contracts, had their passports confiscated, and worked on computers for 12-17 hours a day under strict supervision. If they did not complete their work, they were beaten. The police coordinated to arrest Thao in Binh Duong and Ha when they entered Vietnam through Moc Bai border gate, Tay Ninh. Initially, authorities determined that Thao and Ha had committed human trafficking with at least 6 victims.
