The most unique lock on the Great Loop isn't a lock at all... it's a marine railway called The Big Chute located on the Trent-Severn Waterway! The experience consists of driving your boat onto a railcar, and then the railcar goes over a road, down the hill, and to the water on the other side. We've been looking forward to this experience since we first researched the Great Loop and are excited to share it with you. We are high school sweethearts from Atlanta, Georgia who decided to take a year off to travel around the world. Together we decided to create vlogs for our journey as a fun way to remember it.
