Canon 40D. The first Canon Dslr with an implemented live view to see, what you get, including the exposure compensation. A first step into that, what's standard in today cameras. But to focus the camera needs the mirror. That means, if you are in live view, the mirror flips down to focus. Not the fastest way, but it works and is nice to have. Otherwise this camera feels very rugged and good in hands, has a big screen (sadly a low resolution), well placed buttons and dials. As you can see, with a pancake lens, you get a small package. Another new feature was the support of picture styles. Now you can put styles via PC to the camera. There's a lot to find in the web. Especially ‪@thomasfransson‬ makes me curios, if it works on old cameras. And it does! His styles gives the pictures a very filmic look. Thanks again btw! All pics in the video are SOOC, no editing! 10MP seems not very much, but it's more than enough. If you are looking for such a camera, maybe the 50D is also very nice, same body with a better screen and 15MP, is a good option. And with magic lantern that camera shoot video!
