An epididymal cyst is a benign (non-cancerous), fluid-filled sac located near or behind the testicle within the epididymis, most commonly seen in men aged 20 to 40 and rare in children. Small cysts typically require no treatment, only periodic follow-ups every 6 to 12 months to monitor growth. However, if a cyst becomes large, painful, or causes discomfort, medical evaluation is necessary.
