english below *** Dieser Film ist das Ergebnis eines einjährigen Eintauchens in die deutsche Beatboxszene. Dabei wurde ich von vielen Menschen an die Hand genommen, die mir ihre Welt gezeigt haben. Der wichtigste von ihnen, dem der Film von Event zu Event folgt, ist Foxey. Foxey stand schon bei der deutschen Meisterschaft auf der Bühne und will das auch 2024 wieder schaffen. Gleichzeitig will Foxey aber eigentlich lieber so beatboxen, wie es sich richtig anfühlt, anstatt immer nur alles auf den nächsten Sieg auszurichten. Mit diesem Druck und dem Gefühl, dass es nur noch um Battles geht, steht Foxey nicht alleine da. Der Film versucht herauszufinden, was da eigentlich dran ist, was das Ganze mit Männlichkeit zu tun hat und wie man etwas verändern kann. Und wo sind eigentlich die Frauen auf deutschen Beatboxbühnen? Dreifacher deutscher Meister Madox, Szene-Urvater Bee Low und Luna, eine der wenigen deutschen Beatboxerinnen, geben in Interviews ihre Perspektive auf Beatbox und die Szene. Darüber hinaus trifft der Film jede Menge weiterer spannender Personen wie die Organisatorin Tanita oder die Beatboxlegende himself. Der Film ist am Ende vor allem auch einfach ein Einblick in eine kleine und herzliche Szene mit ihren etwas verrückten Menschen und noch verrückteren Sounds: Die Beatbox-Family.    Der Film ist übrigens mein erster eigener Film und natürlich auch durch meine subjektive Perspektive und die der Menschen, die mir geholfen haben, geprägt. Wenn ihr etwas anders seht, was sehr gut sein kann, dann macht das auf faire Weise in den Kommentaren deutlich oder schreibt mir. Foxey has already performed on stage at the German championships and wants to do so again in 2024. At the same time, Foxey would rather beatbox the way it feels right to them, instead of always focusing on the next victory. Foxey is not alone in feeling this pressure and the sense that it's all about battles. The film attempts to find out what's really going on, what it all has to do with masculinity, and how things can be changed. And where are the women on German beatbox stages? Three-time German champion Madox, scene pioneer Bee Low, and Luna, one of the few female German beatboxers, give their perspectives on beatboxing and the scene in interviews. In addition, the film meets lots of other exciting people, such as organizer Tanita and the beatbox legend himself. Ultimately, the film is simply an insight into a small and warm scene with its slightly crazy people and even crazier sounds: the beatbox family.
