Fishing For Bass Using the 'Zagaia Portuguesa' Technique
Zagaia Portuguesa, Used to be just something I thought about using and then one day my good mate Chan Called me and said I've just had a bumper session using the Zagaias he had made at home! Since that day... END GAME! We have been using this technique since I got back from traveling. A simple but seriously effective way of catching bass. There is nothing to hide here, these little lure KILL!! Easily made with a few simple components, Metal jig around 10-15g, a weedless hook, a split ring and of Course a straight tailed Soft plastic, In this case a Do live copy. Together arranged to create a spaceship looking lure that literally slays. I wasn't to sure on it to start, building multiple lures including Zagaias with Paddle tails, Bent Jigs (to try and create an action) different hook sets but finally nailed onto a straight SP and a straight Jig. The Action is Orgasmic! Side swiping, seesaw motion, from just a simple straight retrieve. You got to use it to believe it! Enjoy as always... Never Stop the Adventure!
