The Iran-Israel war has intensified with Iran increasingly using “Shahed” kamikaze drones in retaliation against U.S. and Israeli strikes. These drones are low-cost, long-range UAVs that can carry around 50 kg of explosives and travel nearly 2,000 km, making them effective for hitting distant targets and overwhelming air defenses. Reports indicate that hundreds of Shahed-136 drones have been launched across parts of the Middle East, targeting locations in the Gulf region such as the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait and nearby strategic facilities.
