Overnight, torrential rainfall embedded in widespread heavy showers and severe storms has lashed central interior Queensland, with a whole lot more rainfall on the way today and throughout the remainder of this week. Storms and showers will be heaviest through today and tomorrow around the Carnarvon NP, down through Charleville and into the SW corner of QLD. More heavy rain is expected. We also have a developing tropical cyclone and a potential cyclone or tropical low offshore from WA this morning.
