✨ What is it REALLY like to work as a Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) at Microsoft? Welcome back to my “1% Better in Tech” series — where I document my journey working in Cloud & AI at Microsoft. Every Sunday, I share: 🚀 What I worked on 📚 What I learned 💡 Real lessons from the field 📈 And how I’m growing 1% every day in my tech career This Week: Experimenting, Coffee Chats & AI Certifications ☁️🤖 This week was intense. I focused on: Experimenting in Microsoft Azure Having meaningful coffee chats with colleagues Studying for Data & AI Fundamentals certifications Exploring real-world Cloud architecture scenarios And here are some of the biggest lessons: 🔐 1. Security Must Be Built From Day One Security is not an afterthought. In Cloud Architecture, you design with security first — not later. 💰 2. Free Azure Credits (Yes, Really!) Students can get €100 Azure credits for 12 months New users can get €200 in free Azure credits with a free trial If you're starting in Cloud Computing, there’s no excuse not to experiment. 🎯 3. The Best Solutions Start With Interviews Before designing the “perfect” architecture, talk to the people in the field. Understand the real problem before proposing a technical solution. 🤝 4. Copilot Can Handle Meeting Invites Yes — you can use Copilot to accept and send meeting invites. Small productivity hacks = big time savings. 🌍 5. Data Governance Is Critical When choosing where to store data in Azure, always check: Data residency requirements Compliance Regional governance restrictions Cloud is global — but data rules are not. 🧠 6. Problem First. Solution Second. When building for a client: Understand the business problem deeply. Then shape the solution. Then pitch it in a way that connects with their reality. Every week, I’m learning something new about: ☁️ Cloud Architecture 🤖 AI & Data 🏢 Life at Microsoft 📈 Career Growth in Tech If you're interested in: Becoming a Cloud Solution Architect Working at Microsoft Azure certifications AI careers Real tech career growth Make sure to subscribe and follow the journey.
